This is a website for the emergency financing of the purchase of the FINCA BELLMUT on Ibiza.

The purpose of the purchase is to remove the finca from the market by transferring it to a foundation and to develop a commons-orientated regenerative agriculture project.

The purchase is guaranteed through the exercise of the pre-emptive right of the current tenant or directly through the capitalisation of the foundation intended for this purpose.

We need to raise € 2.3 million euros by the end of May.

But we need your support.

Finca Bellmunt

Finca Bellmunt – A Commons Project in the Making

Finca Bellmunt, located at Venda del Bellmunt N.14 on Ibiza, is a 2.8-hectare traditional estate dating back to 1920. For over 45 years, it has been home to Claudine Santkin and her partner Olivier Leclerc, who transformed the finca into a cherished social hub for locals and visitors alike.

Following the passing of the former owner, the property is now for sale for the first time. However, soaring market prices place it far beyond the financial reach of Claudine and her family—despite decades of tenancy and repeated attempts to purchase the estate.

The property includes a historic main building, an outbuilding (currently used for tools), a cultivated garden, and four interconnected agricultural terraces. While the arable land has remained unused for decades, it holds great potential for regeneration.

Project Vision: Preserving Place, Purpose, and Potential

A group of close allies and transformation professionals—Stephan Dilschneider, Youri Wilde, and Borja Cumi—have initiated a project to acquire the finca and preserve it as a non-profit commons. Their shared goals:

  1. Preserve Public Access
Protect the finca from privatization and maintain it as a public venue for learning, culture, and community.
  2. Regenerative Agriculture
Revitalize the surrounding land through regenerative farming, building on the momentum of the nearby Can Cristofol initiative.
  3. Education & Transformation
Establish an innovative retreat and education center focused on regenerative agriculture and local economic and monetary design—key pillars of social-ecological transformation.
  4. Secure a Home for Claudine & Olivier
Ensure long-term housing for the couple who have cared for and cultivated this place for decades—a moral and emotional cornerstone of the project.

The Path Forward

To protect Finca Bellmunt from speculative acquisition, we are designing an alternative ownership model with philanthropic support. In return, the finca will generate long-term social, ecological, and cultural value—making it a commons project with meaningful returns for funders and the broader community alike.
